Personal Branding In Network Marketing

A personal brand is Very important in the network marketing industry. The question, however, is not “if” you have a personal brand, but if you choose to guide and cultivate it or simply let it be defined on your behalf.

We all have a personal brand if we are on social media. Our goal is to understand how we  wish to be perceived so we  can start to be more strategic about building our brand.

My number one suggestion is to Always be authentic! Be human, BE YOURSELF!  Tell people your story, strong brands are dependant on strong narratives. People can relate and connect to stories. Share your passions, your interests, your truths! This unifies your overall theme!

Second,  be purposeful in your shares. Every picture, status update and post contributes to your personal brand.Remember we are building and your brand is built through a compilation of your daily actions!

Try to start thinking of yourself as a brand. What do you want for others to associate with you when they think of your name? For example are there general qualities you want linked to you? Are there areas in which you would like to be perceived as an expert? Or at least extremely knowledgeable in your research in said areas. This can be done by finding ways to produce value and create content in line with your brand.

Lastly, build your network! Associate with others with strong brands! Your personal brand can be strengthened or weakened by your connection to other’s brands. Be leaders, hang out with leaders and people with similar growth goals!

Soo….what’s your brand?

  1. My brand is ME! I want people to know me, not just the company(s) I choose to represent. They already have branding and I’m not going to turn myself into a walking, personality-less, robot billboard.

This post needs to be read by everyone in the industry. Great blog Andrea, I look forward to reading more of your writing.
